Just like studying abroad, working abroad can be a valuable, enriching, and once-in-a-lifetime experience. Students can work abroad during the summer, for a year, or after graduation. Below are resources that will help you to access international employment opportunities.
Students for Development: Huron students (preference given to Global Development Students) may be able to undertake an internship abroad for academic credit towards their degree. More information about this AUCC program is available here.
Campus Recruitment: Large multi-national organizations recruit students to work abroad on-campus in the fall and winter. Most of these opportunities are in Asia and require that the candidate speak the local language. For more information, speak to the Career Counsellor or login to CareerCentral.
Huron in Ecuador: This new pilot project will introduce students to alternative and sustainable form of development in May 2012. More information can be found here.
